Niños con Autismo de San Miguel de Allende, one of the UUFSMA's grantees, is recruiting 3 or 4 young people for our Vocational program. This new program, when it begins,  runs Monday through Friday from 9:00 to 1:00 p.m. and teaches young men and women a variety of basic skills needed to work in a restaurant. There is a monthly fee and upon finishing the program, the participants should be able to earn a salary.  Following is a description that you can share with anyone. The basic requirements are that the participants (men or women) must be between 17 and 25 years of age and that they have a diagnosis of autism, attention deficit disorder (ADHD), or are receiving treatment for language or learning disorders. 

To join the team, each participant needs to know how to read and write, add and subtract either mentally or with a calculator, the use and value of money and have a basic knowledge of cooking and the kitchen.
