    Niños con Autismo de San Miguel de Allende, A.C. provides services for children and young adults with autism, including evaluation and diagnosis and the development of individual treatment plans and therapies. Another important part of our work is outreach and education about autism into the community.

      What are the signs that could indicate a diagnosis of autism in young children?
      At 6 months - little to no eye contact, no
      smiles
      At 9 months - no interaction with people
      including parents
      At 12 months - no babbling, no interaction
      through gestures, does not respond to
      his/her name
      At 16 months - does not say any words
      At 24 months - language is limited

      AND AT ANY AGE, the child stops talking, babbling or socializing.
